    Bear Zapper pics

    OK, here's the heart of the system. My neon transformer. It hasn't run any neon for years, because I made a Jacob's latter out of it.

    For those of you who don't know what it is... A small spark starts at the bottom and expands as it moves upwards. When it hits the top, it breaks and a new spark starts at the bottom.

    Here's a pic of the jacobs ladder in action. Camara screwed things up.. it makes a single arc, not a long line like that...

      Here's the final system.

      If you'll notice 1 side of the transformer is connected to the wire mesh, the other side to a wire that loops around the garbage bags.
