latest good place to download music

I was a big fan of kazaa until my internet conn slowed to a grind and I got sick of rebooting. Just got a new puter and Im deciding what to put on there. Would like to do something without all the spyware (kaza had lots of it).
I could rarely find what I was looking for on qtrax, and blubster never worked for me.
Any suggestions?

anyone know if winmx has spyware?
Got some good reviews on limewire but again like qtrax, not lots of stuff available. Imesh has lots of spyware like kazaa, had that on the old puter.

kazaa with the spyware hacked out of it.

My fucking school just installed a $50K application called Packeteer that severely limits the bandwidth allotted to file-sharing. Now it takes several days to dowload a fucking mp3. I'm convinced there's a way around it, maybe IRC or something, but haven't figured anything out yet. Assholes.

started using winmx. definately worth it. found alot of stuff I couldnt get before.
I downloaded the latest version of kazaalite though and when I launch it, I just get a google search page....

If it cost 50k, then it should scan file headers, in which case getting around it would be a pain in the ass.

Frankly though, unless your paying for bandwidth file sharing fucking ruins networks, I had big problems at work with this stuff.
