Story time with GG?: Hunting stories!

Well, it's hunting season so let's hear your hunting stories.

This one involved my uncle:

I was at my grandparents house for our family sunday dinner when my uncle pulls up in his truck. I was outside and couldn't help but notice that he had a big ass hole in the side of his truck.

I asked my uncle about it and he turned red in the face and said "hunting accident". Well, I wasn't going to leave it at that and finally drug the story out of him.

Ya see, my uncle and his buddy like to drink more than their fair share of beer while hunting. This hunting trip they were out duck hunting and as usual, they were pretty gooned by the end of the day. They packed up their gear, and put it in the truck. They also put the guns in the gunrack mounted inside, to the back of the cab.

As they started to drive away, my uncle and his friend got into an argument about wether my uncle had unloaded his 12ga shotgun. So.. my Uncle decides to prove his buddy wrong by reaching back and pulling the trigger.

BOOM!! Big arse hole out the side of his truck! He said his truck stinks like gunpowder and his ears were ringing for days. Dumbass!

About 3 years ago we went hunting on some property owned my my friends grand parents. It was late in the season and getting real cold. I was sitting on the edge of a corn field that they had left standing when I saw the tip of a nose then an eye. I was completly still waiting for this deer to move out so I could get a shot. I was sitting there for what felt like forever. My hads were freezing and my legs were starting to fall asleep when I started hearing a rustling sound behind me. I turned my head to see a little red fox rooting around in the leaves coming right tword me. The deer was still standing in the corn stalks so I didn't want to move. The fox kept moving closer not seeing me. I guess my camo really worked well. I tipped my bow hoping it would catch the foxes eye and scare him away and not scare off the deer but he didn't see me. He kept coming closer and closer until he was right up to me when he got with in a foot of me he looked up and relized I was there. The little fox freaked out and jumped back falling over on his side he then began thrashing around to try to stand up and run. In the process he was kicking at me an hit me with his tail. I got this picture of me being malled by this little creature and jumped up but my legs has fallen asleep and I fell back to the ground and started thrashing around not unlike the fox was doing. Of course the deer caught sight of us and took off as did the fox leaving me laying on the ground looking like some big dummy. When my friends asked me if I saw anything I just said no and went to bed. I didn't tell them about my experience till the next day. I still have those jerks bring that story up every time I see them.
