Rockers Def Leppard are back in the music game - even though they insist they've never been away.
The "Let's Get Rocked" band - who resent the fact most believe they have got back together to ride the current wave of rock nostalgia - bemoan the current state of the music scene, because it lacks the originality of days gone by.
Guitarist Vivian Campbell explains, "All these other bands from the '80s are re-forming and doing package tours, and we never went away.
"Anyone who thinks there's any spark of creativity left in the music business is delusional. It's pathetic."
But the evergreen rockers believe they'll ride out the current music scene - as they've already survived original guitarist Steve Clark's sudden death and drummer Rick Allen's 1984 car accident.
Campbell adds, "The band survived Rick losing his arm, the band survived Steve's death. Let's see if we can survive the death of the music industry."
