  • Couple of questions

Hey, I'm new to this site and i have a quick question.

First of all, In the last year i have put on alot of mass. A year ago I was 145 pounds soaking wet. Then I started working out non-stop and started taking alot of whey protien. Now I have gotten up to 187.
But my problem is that i lose weight really easily now. I'm still taking the protien and I eat alot, but if i get real busy at work and skip a meal or mid-day snack or something i lose 3 to 5 pounds it seems like. I have been able to put it back on by adding an extra shake each day but still I think I'm doing something wrong? Anyone got any answers?

Also another quick one, I have been having lower back pains, and I'm not sure if it's related to some of the supplements I'm taking. Could it be related to that or what?

eat eat eat!!!!! you have to fill your face bro!

back pain- try stretching or taking a muscle relaxer. if that doesnt work then you have some more serious wrong with you.

yeah i probably got to eat more whole foods like you said as for the back pains a friend told me it could be from the quick muscle growth or kidney strain from the creatine i was taking for a while.

I think that a 3-5 lb fluctuation in weight per day is mostly water. Unless your snack or meal that you skip consists of 3-5 lbs of food.

Try to go a few weeks without weighing yourself to see if you are making consistant gains. Keep your food and water intake the same during the periods of not weighing yourself and make adjustments according to if your are loosing lean mass or gaining too much fat. Also gage yourself by the mirror not by the scale.
