Story time with GG?: Craziest thing that you've seen while in a car!
Thought this might be fun. Tell us about the weirdest thing that's happened to you or you've seen happen while in a vehicle.
Here's mine:
Went to a movie with the girlfriend, and we were driving back home. Girlfriend is driving her jeep, I'm in the passanger seat.
We were driving down a 4 lane road (2 lanes each direction) and the light ahead turns yellow. So the girlfriend slows down and comes to a stop at the newly red light.
Just as we come to a stop, I hear tires squealing and see this car in the other lane go slideing into the intersection. The car stops about 1/3 of the way into the intersection, and the driver reverses back to the stop line through a cloud of tire smoke.
At this point I started laughing uncontrollably. You had to see this guy, perfect definition of an 80's skid. Long hair, tight black jeans, etc. And the car! An ugly old boat of a car with the roof hacked off with what looked like a hacksaw. The girlfriend looks over to see why I'm laughing so hard. Of course, she starts laughing too.
Well, I guess the guy didn't appreciate us laughing at him like that. So just as the light turned green, he shouts over "HEY, FUCK YOU" and gives us the ole middle finger. I guess he also was going to "show us" by doing a big burnout as he took off.
Well, that's when it happened! You see, the car must have been an automatic, and when he backed up out of the intersectiom, he forgot to take it out of reverse!! Damn, I wish you all could have seen it! I watched like it happened in slow motion... 1 hand out the window giving us the finger, 1 hand just barely resting on the wheel. As the car took off in a fury of noise and tire smoke, I watched his head come forward like he was trying to take a big bite of steering wheel. The last thing I saw was his head rocket forward into the steering wheel, as the car took off in reverse.
Luckily for him nobody was behind him.... We had to pull over 1/2 a block up as we were laughing too hard to drive. My side hurt for days!
