Anyone seen the movie "SFW"?
SFW is short for "So Fucking What".
I liked this movie because it really made me think. Amoung it's major points, it shows how people often act like sheep.
The plot basically goes as follows:
Terrorists take a bunch of hostages in a conveinance store. As part of their demands, they get a video camera and start broadcasting nation-wide. This goes on for weeks before the standoff finally ends. 1 of the hostages is so fed up by the end (they all believe that they're going to die) that he takes on a "So fucking what" attitude. Everything they say or do is broadcast nationwide, and when they finally get out the hostages are amazed to find that they are now huge celebrities. The 1 hostage with the "So fucking what" attitude in particular. This starts a new SFW "craze" and the movie goes from there...
It was a pretty interesting movie, but the ending blew me away. I stayed up 1/2 the night lying in bed thinking about it. It freaked me out in that I could almost see it happening in today's society.
If you like movies that'll make you think... I really reccomend you check this one out.
