i heard that on the radio yesterday that they issued out 200 or more lawsuits at people who have more than 1000 mp3 files downloaded on their comp. and more are to come.

Keep in mind that it's not really the artists that are behind these lawsuits, but rather the album lable.

The artists see less than $1 for every CD they sell. They make most of their money from doing concerts, T-shirt sales, etc.

Metallica has it's own lable, that's why this band is directly involved with these lawsuits.

DON'T BUY the shit at the stores. That's what they want you to do. Why the hell are they suing the regular joes when they make billions of dollars. There's a ban on buying CD's to prove to them that we don't NEED it like they expect they do. CD sales are dropping immensely because of this lawsuit. You sue us, we don't buy your cd's. Easy as that.
The music industry needs to conform to the technology. The technology don't need to conform to the music industry!!!

It was proven that more the sharing of mp3 occured that there was more sales of CDs. The Offspring showed it.... they are just greedy
