Actually I'd probably wait to make eye contact to see if either was interested. I may have the bartender ask them if they'd accept a round of drinks from me. If so, I'd have a chat with them, and just play it cool, and by original. Depending on what kind of bar it was I may dance or play pool with them.

Maybe corny, but that's how I do things.
