GG brother i hope everything works out for you. did that last fire burn out most of the area around you already or are you still in danger.
    Thanks bro.

The last fire came at us from the other direction. Unfortunately, there's nothing but tinder dry forest seperateing us from the fire.

There's a few homes protecting us from this side tho.. as bad as it sounds, they should make a good fire barrier.

I found out that the fire was started by a lightening strike.

I wish I had a picture of the sky to show you guys. The sun is nothing but a dull orange ball in the sky. No brighter than stareing at a candle. People are having trouble breathing from all the smoke. This morning my car was covered in ashes and soot.

Well, I'm off of evacuation alert. The fire has sorta burnt around my general area so we seem to be safe.

However, this fire is now approx 13,000 hectares and seems to be doubling in size every day. Over 1000 houses have been put on evacuation alert, about 50 have been evacuated. Amazingly only a handful of homes have actually burnt down.

I can't explain the feeling of armagedon in this city. It's so smokey that you literally can't see more than a mile or so. It looks like there's fog everywhere, but it smells like smoke. It's snowing ash.. neat, but tastes like crap and builds up in your lungs. It's so dark, like it's winter. The sun is just a dull orange ball in the sky. I've seen moons brighter..

My city looks like it's going to be mostly fine. however, it's rapidly burning towards another one.
