Yeesh.. like 1/5th of my province has now been burnt!

We've been experienceing some of the hottest and most dry weather in recorded history in this provice.

Because of BC's vast forests, this also means we are forest fire heaven. There's been all sorts of nasty fires lately, and we're only 1/2 way through the fire season. So far a crazy amount of forest has been burnt. There's been more land burnt already in BC than all of the land in alot of US states!

Be careful with your cig buts and campfires please folks!

Hell, anything could help. So far we've had 0.4mm of rain (that's something like 1/64th of an inch) in the last 40 days..

He was an active volunteer fire fighter.

This is just 1 of the largest of the 200+ fires currently burning in BC.
