Having a GI on makes things a little more difficult. I did do some no gi submission wrestling as well. Basically BJJ without the Gi. I would say that it is much more effective for the street, but learning first with the Gi I think makes you much more technical and opens your eyes to more things. I remember when I first tried no-gi I was a little lost at the beginning because the normal hold and so on aren't there anymore.

Its up to you as to what order you learn in. You may want to visit some schools and see what they have to offer before deciding. I took BJJ first and my school also throws in some Vale Tudo type fighting at times. That way you still learn some other techniques than just the BJJ.
As far as I know Muay Thai Boxing is the same as Muay Thai kickboxing.

oi, muay thai dubbed ' the art of 8 limbs' is one thing, there is no boxing /kickboxing. As muay thai involves use of the feet, knees, eblows and hands.
Yeah you might want to start with a striking style like muay thai. It'll give you a good base for later. And as was said above with BJJ you really need to check your ego at the door. A lot of times when you roll (spar) you'll be in a position where you dont want to give up, but you have to for your own safety. It took me awhile to getting use to that.
ANyways good luck with whatever you choose!
