  • Freaked me out

Today I was at a breakfast for the stampede thats here in town(for those who dont know the stampede is a big carnival with rides and rodeo etc) and there was a country band playing some music. My moms boyfriend plays the guitar/dobrough/banjo and his cousin ws playing a guitar and singing when he had a massive heart attack, fell and hit the edge of the stage with his face. His kids were there, who were all grown up and they started doing cpr until the ambulance showed up to take over. Unfortunately he died on the stage. Thats the first time I've ever seen someone die in front of me. My little girl was there with me and she's only four and had no idea what was going on, but I grabbed her and hugged her tight cause you never know when your times up. Al was only 57 not overweight. Just had a bad ticker. That really ruined my day to see someone doing something they live for and then die doing it. It sucks....

I can't imagine the loss that guy must've felt.....

It is sad, and hard to see, a reminder how short and precious life is.
