I just received my Lipid Profile. I am 41 years old, 5’10” tall, 205 pounds at 18.5% BF. Here are the results:
Glucose, Serum or Plasma 81
Cholesterol 135
Triglyceride 84
HDL 25
LDL 93
VLDL 17
Chol/HDLC Ratio 5.40
I know that the HDL is low. It should be 40-100. And, the ratio of 5.40 is high because of this.
I had been consuming only about 40 grams of fat daily but have increased this and my EFAs. I am up to about 70 grams per day with only 5-10 grams saturated. I had read that niacin was a good way to raise HDL. Any suggestions or further interpretations of my results? I have been on cycle for 9 weeks now using 500mg Test Ent., 450mg Deca, and 400mg of Equipose. I was wondering how the cycle might be affecting the results.
