    assumed name? is it because we don't register the IP or what? I thought we did? or is that they use AOL as a browser?

          Think of it like this. If everytime you recieved a phonecall that offended you and you 'banned' that number from calling you, thus limiting access from certain areas. It's too much of a blanket approach to ban on an IP address basis. ISP's, universities, and any decent sized business will use a subnet. A hundred people behind the same subnet could post and you would only see one IP address assuming they are using different machines on that subnet.

              Not unless they were using a router with NAT, otherwise your real IP shows up, not just the gateway/router.
