Well just to throw in my 2 cents, not that it matters. But i don't believe its liberal BS. I belive that we live in an advanced democratic society that extends people certain freedoms. One being freedom of religon. She is simply stating that it is her right to decide if she wants her face to be seen or not. Things aren't easy here in the US. We want freedom but we seem to always pick and choose who we want to extend it to. Not to say that i agree with her, but i am happy to see the ACLU take the case cause it will in some way change the way things are done and handled.

She was born here, and converted to Islam. You guys can stop worrying. It was in the newspaper today that the case is settled. The DMV offered to let her get her picture taken in a room alone with a female employee, but I'm not sure if she accepted. The whole thing is retarded. The woman should have enough common sense to see the need for identifying people in their liscense photos.
