i will take a big pay cut but i love the critters. i have worked with the local humane societies and really feel i would like it. my wife was promoted and that would offset the payloss. i have a friend who does it and she loves it. its something i have always wanted to do and maybe i will have the opportunity.

i worked at a animal control center for a summer one time and it was awful as hell. putting dogs to sleep all damn day unless u get called out for a animal prob.

this is no shit ....we would kill say 10 dogs and they would be laying around in the floor then we would bring in a pit bull and those mfs would bite a dead dog and latch on and not let go!!no shit..we would kill those pits with a dead dog in its mouth..so we had to kill the pits first

also this aint funny but maybe it is...we had to load all the dogs at the end of the day in the back of a dump truck..just throw them fuckers in there..then shut the tailgate and put a tarp over tem..well one day a new guy forot to completely lock the gate..so were driving down the road to the dump and about 4 cars are tailgateing us and we went around a curve a hit a bump which cause the driver to swerve of the road a lil..lol..dogs went a flying lmao..dead dogs going everywheere those cars were driving off the road etc..lmao

i didnt think about that side 34pumped. thats rough but the city i applied in boasts one of the highest adoption rates in north texas they do euthanize but its a small affluent city and they dont do it very often and really dont have much traffic. i will weigh that with the benifits of helping getting animals placed and adopted. i dont know if i could kill a dog or cat. maybe a cat J/K

I hate thinking about putting animals down. I cried like a little girl when the vet put my rottie down a few months ago.
