Agreed. I usually rest for about as long as it would take someone to do a set anyway.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

That is why I work out in my home gym. I would probably get kicked out of many gyms! You did the right thing. He deserved what he got.

if this guy does this time and time again and the owner doesnt do or say anything then i would of done the same .But only once i would of probably waited.he should not throw water in the middle of a set though that could be dangerous. That is much worst then you taking his station

good luck at the new gym

You lost your composure. Far better for you would have been to go to the manager with water dripping off of you, explain what happened calmly - and move on. By assaulting someone you risk a criminal history with all the benefits associated, you risk financial duress from possible legal proceedings, and you risk retribution which very likely would not be on even ground.

Assaulting someone is only worthwhile if you feel you are in danger, or someone else is in danger (family, friends). Situations such as those preclude all other concerns.

Better luck at your next gym!

Deep down I think you wanted this to happen lol Don't blame you for that. Some times we find ways to make something happen, when we want it. I meen, you said nobody likes the guy. So there is anamosity here. Thats fuel for a fire.

                        Cheers
