Im really into every kind of music except classical and instrumental music, that shit bores the crap out of me and especailly elevator music ahhhhhhhhhh. But I alos love hip-hop, rap, rick, alternative, rave, techno and so on.
I don't think it is funny to see people die. Hard Rock has had its' fair share of problems. It is sad when they make a show and let some mumbling idiot walk around and curse with his fat kids. All music takes talent and all types of music has its' problems.

I've seen Poison in concert 3 times. Been up on stage, even backstage. Sang "rock and roll all night" with them 2 years ago. Gonna be a fourth in a couple of months too.
I love all the 80's rock. Well, most of it. The good 80's rock that is (and, well, some of the bad)
ive seen them all in concert: Ratt, warrant, metallica, scorpions, whitesnake, LA guns, motley crue, tesla, poison, dokken (they suck)slaughter, aerosmith (well sort of 80's), and AC/DC. Im sure theres more but I cant remember right now. But damn I would give my left nut to original guns in concert.
HELL YEAH hollywood its nice to hear that some young people besides me are interested in that kind of music.
I hate being the only one (besdes my 3 best friends that I go with) that and under 40 and should have stopped drinking 20 years ago.

That is a very ignorant opinion. Many rappers lyrics are much deeper and telling than any other lame ass rock song. Have you ever listened to the likes of Tupac, Nas, or ever really truly listened to Eminem's lyrics? Cut through the cursing, and you can find the rapper's soul in the lyrics. If you eve disect most hardcore metal or rock songs, they really have very little meaning behind them.
Anyways,
as for 80s band, give me Def Leppard, come on, the drummer had one-arm, thats talent!!
