Toby turned 15 a few days ago. She has been my service dog, my companion, and my friend. I met her 15 years ago, she drew her first breath as I held that tiny body in my hands. When I developed a heart condition she was my go to she knew what to do. I got her registered and certified as a cardiac alert dog. She is older as we all are.cataracts in her eyes so she sees not so good. Arthritis so she gets pain medicine when needed. She is such a pleasure everyone loves her. She gets lost so my voice comforts and guides her to where I am. I hope I have many more years with this kind and gentle soul.
