Its not even close to the same bikes. Neither of those will ever touch the TL in the torque department. The TL will be heavier, trust me i Have one and its a pig to haul around. The honda is by far the most comfortable, but im not a honda guy. I agree that they make the best quality bike out there, they just dont do it for me. Id get the TL, slap some exhaust on it, and rumble around. By the way i go through a rear tire every 2-3 K miles depending on tire.Originally posted by gearedup

If you have the money....get the fucken Ducati........ITS THE ONLY WAY TO GO....its so fucken nice ....well your in Florida so I guess the upkeep is a concern [here in Toronto, you can only ride bikes for like 4-5months out of the year do the weather].....if your that worried about the upkeep get the CBR nice, light and sexy

man I really like the TL1000, but I do like the Honda too. The TL1000 I feel more comfortable on it than the CBR, but the CBR is a bit lighter...I don't know, my BD is in a couple of weeks, we'll see
