Bulldogs are a good choice. They have a ton of energy for short periods of time. They'll call all out playing for half an hour, and then lay down for the rest of the day.

You have to be careful with mini pins. A buddy of mine had one, and it broke it's leg twice just from jumping off the couch when it was a puppy. They're just too small and fragile.

depending how big you want to go .As far as small dogs go.Ithink the boston terriers are the best.No aggreesion, short hair, very obediant, still looks somewhat like a man's dog compared to a poodle and shit.

My little boston is awesome .

I like small dogs but ya can't really get a small manly dog. Granted there are a few exceptions but for the most part a big dog = a manly dog.

A staffordshire terrier could work? They remind me of mini-pitbulls.

what's wrong with pugs? my ex and i got a pug together and he would run around the dog park with the greyhounds playing fetch.

they are sturdy, athletic dogs if you treat them like that. they are lap dogs if you treat them like that.

min pins and italian greyhounds are notorious for having seperation anxiety.

boston terriers are also great apartment dogs.

I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The breeder said that they are "the original pit bull." The AKC standard is up to 40 lbs for males and up to 35 lbs for *****es.

I wouldn't keep it inside all the time b/c they are very athletic dogs. They're like a 35 lb ball of muscle. I love em'.
