Can You Get A DUI Walking To Your Car?
My boy got popped last night after a cop saw us walking to his car intoxicated. He was not in the car, however the cop said he drove to WAWA drunk so that counts as a DUI. I was like WTF? Luckily I kept my mouth shut but I feel bad because this all started after the police were called because of a near brawl...it was 3 guys on me and punches were not thrown but the clerk called the cops. No word from him yet. THIS SUCKS!

if the cops didn't see you driving i don't think they can give him a dui. just walking to your car doesn't mean shit, he could have been going to get something out of the car. -

I had a buddy who went to his car to pass out we took his keys and he passed out in the back seat.
a cop saw him there like 2 hours later and gave him a DUI it got thrown out of court cause he didn't have the keys on him since we had them.
But if he had his keys in his pocket he would of been fuckedLife is like a game, you either win or lose. AND I ALWAYS WINComment

he can beat that with a lawyer,one time I was sitting in a car in a parking lot when a cop came up and charged me with a dwi,when I was in court it was dropped cause the keys were not in and the car was not started.Comment

bro,tell him to fight it,there is no proof when he consumed the drinks,and if the cop thought he was drunk when he pulled into wawa why didnt he arrest him then?so your boy could say that he drank from a flask or any fukin thing while in the store and since the cop got him walkin back to his car he cant get say he was drinkin and driving,it will get beat.Comment
