i got off work early today, picked my son up from preschool and went to rent some movies. he wanted the croc hunter movie. we went home and started watching it i kicked back to take a nap. i was asleep when my son started pestering me to watch the movie. i told him i didnt want to. it must have pissed him off because the next thing i heard was " the cow goes mooo" then i had horrible pain in the groin area. i opened my eyes to see him winding up with the speak and spell again. i was too dazed from the first blow to defend myself against a 4 year old. and i was struck in the left knee. i was shocked. he said now you will listen to me. iasked him why he hit me. he recited what my wife said to me one night when she was playin with me saying she was going to hit me with a frying pan if i didnt get off the couch and listen to me. he started crying when i told him he hurt me all i could do was hug him. i hope the boys are OK they are still sore. its amazing how much kids pick up that you dont even think about.

he is wild and he is a gun owner in fact he has several. mostly water guns but a few nerf guns that shoot those foam darts. i blame this squarely on my wife. LOL

This is similiar to a story my boss told me a few weeks ago. His son is like two years old. He was sleeping in his bedroom and he heard his son come in , he was semi-awake...but kept acting like he was sleeping. His son was calling his name, and after 5-10 minutes he thought that his son had given up...then Wham!!! Knee drop to the head......When he told me the story I was laughing my ass off....especially because I was picturing this little kid knee drop kicking a 30 year old 275 lb man.

Be glad he didn't hit you with a he-man doll, that doll would have kicked you ass, being all muscle and such lol

It's good that you comfort him like that, that sort of thing would have tramatized that kid like you wouldn't believe.

Plus I would watch what you and your wife say around him, kids at that age tend to pick up stuff what their parents say.
