I am too skeptical to give props. It is a kind gesture but is like me giving some homeless dude a dollar on the street. I just always feel there is an ulterior motive. It is more about him looking like a hero and a nice guy than really about helping folk.
Either way I am glad people do stuff like this. Even if it is about image it will free up some cash of folk who have to put stuff on layaway at walmart. Maybe it will profoundly help some of them, say their car breaks down and they need $200 for a water pump. They have to choose between picking up the layaway and getting to work at the streets department. Now they got both!
