If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.
I would love to have one as well. My friend has some gen 2 scopes he wants to sell me. I took a look at them at night. at 50 yards they are ok but past that at say 100 yards, you cannot tell a deer from a warm engine block. I have a gen 1 night vision monocular. It is slightly better than worthless.
Thermal will come down in a few years. I thought about buying something like this from ali. It is an inspection camera but in a field with nothing else around might do the job for hunting.
