Lol..
A waitress pulled that one on a buddy of mine on Saturday night. Lol.. we'd already bought a few drinks from her and he bought a $4 drink and only had $4 on him so he gave it to her and she's said in a loud voice "Don't forget to tip me" and she sounded all pissed off. My buddy rolled his eyes and managed to fish a quarter out of his pocket. I couldn't believe it, she'd already made a killing off of us on tips and the night was still young. We had a party of 11.
So the next time she came by I requested that she didn't serve us again. She could send over another waitress or we'd just get our own drinks. She got all pissed and told us to get our own drinks. I walked over to a cute waitress in the section over and asked if she'd take care of us cause we didn't like the other waitress. I think that wasn't the first time cause she didn't even bat an eye.
The new waitress must have walked out with $200 in tips from our table (the other one would have gotten nearly the same). Plus she was way cooler and was doing shots with us and stuff.
Just wanted to vent about the ***** waitress. Tipping is not an obligation, it's a way of expressing gratitude.
