Facebook can be used to get things done. We had a local animal shelter that was killing kittens and puppies at a record setting rate. As soon as they picked up a stray animal, they were looking to kill them. Facebook was used to provoke public outcry and a city ordinance was passed to stop the murderous animal shelter's killing spree. Needless to say, the shelter was pissed that they couldnt kill puppies anymore

The video we posted on facebook about the shelter killing puppies hit 25, 000 views in 24 hours and brought hell upon that high kill animal shelter. The shelter manager said it was the worst PR disaster in the entire history of the shelter. Thats the power of facebook.
