I think the mixture of noise amplified the people who did boo {they believed Marty deserved that award} but, I was there & I know that there were more people clapping than booing.
That's right cutiepie, I was clapping for him.
But, I did tell him to shave that hair off his face.. especially since his nose was running from all the crying he was doing & it just did not look attractive with all that goo hanging from it!

well, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt...ask anyone that watched on TV what they thought though...even the announcers made a comment about it.
Yah, but they had those announcer's ear thingys on & heard what was being broadcasted.
