Everyones new favorite word: Unicorn

Can someone please enlighten me on the definition of this word?
I heard a chick say she wants to find a Unicorn. Ive seen this word used at least 10 different ways.
Ive heard a football player described as a "unicorn".
What the hell is a Unicorn???? And no, Im not talking about the fairy trail horse with a horn on its head.

according to urbandictionary.com a unicorn is someone so perfect you can't catch. as in "that girl is a ten for sure". "No, bro, she's not a ten....she's beyond a ten. She's my unicorn".

I asked this chick, what are you looking for in a relationship? She said she is looking for a unicorn. I also saw unicorn described as the 3rd party dude in a female on female sex relationship. A guy they just keep around to use for sex. I am thinking that is what that chick was saying she wanted. I volunteered for the job. Its going pretty well LOL

A unicorn is a super hot gal who has low standards for her man (so a goofy looking guy like me could be with her) who she is 100% loyal to. Enjoys watching football, fishing, guns, beer, training, cars and motorcycles and loves initiating crazy sex and is not crazy in the head. DOES NOT EXIST!

In the group sex world a unicorn is always the extra female. She plays both ways, has no real sexual preference. The term unicorn is used because it's always sought after but doesn't exist because eventually any female unicorn wants a relationship too. That relationship could be with man, woman, our a couple but none the less it's a relationship so none the less she loses her unicorn status hence why no unicorn really exists. It's mostly a definition to describe the assertive and independent female who at that time "doesn't need a relationship" and is just involved for the pleasures of sex.
