Re: Change it up
This is so true and there are a ton of articles out there but I know from personal experience how quickly my body adapts to the same routine. Especially as a weight lifter, I use a primary set of muscles and work them over and over. Usually a mix of compound and isolation movements. If I switch to a full body circuit training "boot camp" style workout, where I am jumping and lunging and making those muscles do things they normally dont do, I feel the same muscle groups I lift with ache in ways I never thought possible. After I do those style workouts for a while, those same muscles start to adapt and no longer get fatigued or ache. I love to switch it up and I feel my body respond to it. For me, it keeps things exciting and challenging and I believe it really helps with overall strength."You don't know how strong you are until strong is your only option."

Re: Change it up
let me share one of my 'change things up stories". Completely vamped up my training and I gained 8lbs in a week!!! needless to say I felt like shit, lol. My trainer was like " I haven't a clue why". Well I found out why and after a week those 8lbs of fluid vanished and I was happy and felt great. this is why I have to make very small changes in my exercise regimen, my body gets shocked alright! I thing it is imperative to change things up for greater results and to help prevent injuries even,Veritas Vos Liberabit
