Pump room

3 weeks till my second show. I realized from my last show I can't depend on the venues pump room equipment as it's a damned near fight to get ahold of a 10 lbs dumbell. I seen a lot of guys with resistance bands, I seen a lot of guys snap themselves in the face doing curls and standing in the middle of the band. Anyone got any advice or referrals for this?

I'm flying out of state so I'm limited on what I can bring. I was considering hitting walmart and buying 2 20lbs kettle bells when I get there and returning them after the show...

Just get some good resistance bands, and don't have them snap in your face lol...and best of luck at your show! I have one in 6 weeks local.

I live in bfe so the majority of shopping I do is on amazon. Anything I see that looks decent to me I read about bands snapping. I guess I'm looking for something with a stap I can put my foot in to keep it from snapping up my pretty face.

Good luck on your show MA, I wish I had 6 weeks left, this shot crept up fast.

That sucks man. Was it NABBA? They did that to me about 5 years ago 2 weeks before a national show!

Just be sure your resistance bands have been broken in first that's all it's always the new one that gives problems

Inaugural npc show. The host is a stand up dude. Does a lot of shows. I talked with him a bit ago, he said he had 30 sign ups 2 weeks out. He does a show in the spring at the same location and packs the house for over 10 years.
