    I throw them in occasionally but I feel it more in my tris then in my chest.

        same here, which is why i rarely utilize this exercise. ive been focusing more on incline to get that upper chest development.

          To the op, I believe it all has to do with how well your pecks are developed or lack there of. Its all a matter of developing YOUR pecs. If your lower pec needs some attention, then do the deckine movements. As someone else said, variation is important.
          In my opinion its very hard to isolate just the pec, almost all chest movements are compound movements that fire not only your pec but also some front delt, tri's and various other muscles. I personally stay away from a straight bar. I try to strictly stick with db's or hammer strength machines.
