A ton of exercises work the upper, mid, and lower traps. But this exercise is new to me. I tried it out and even with 15's & 20's I def felt it in the upper trap area. If you are not sure what this exercise is a google search will tell/show you. I am always looking to make every muscle freakish large and if this exercise will help make my mountains even larger I am going to do it. But, as with any new lift, certain factors need to be considered of course.
So, is it a safe exercise or is it a lift that is asking for injury? Does anyone do this exercise regularly and get good results in their freakish bodybuilding traps appearance? Any other input to get a discussion about this one lift going ...

. The feeling is most certainly different but as was mentioned by 6p6 there seems to be added stress on the neck and I have to agree that I felt some pressure on the neck. So I wanted to know if that's okay and comes with the territory so to speak when large traps are pushing against each other like that or if im asking for it ya know. And of course if flaring is effective and safe.
