I am right handed and my right arm and forearm are 1/4 inch larger than my left. Although this is not a huge difference, it could be noticed in a competition. It seems like the entire 1/4 inch is lacking in my left bicep only. Tri's are the same. Has anyone had this same issue and corrected it? If so, how? Thanks...

Re: Right arm bigger than left...
try to use more dumbells. when doing barbell make sure you are only using strict form and keep both arms consistent. If one is weaker than the other do dumbells. end your set when the weaker arm cant do anymore with good form, no forced reps. this will help to even them out. everyone is gonna have some imbalances though.

personally, i don't think 1/4" is anything to worry about. now, if one arm is 18" and the other looks like greg valentino, then yes, you'd have a problem.

Re: Right arm bigger than left...
i agree with abomb...mine was 3/4 of and inch diff and that was noticable (my wife pointed it out.....like she points out the rest of my fukin flaws on the daily baises, lol). working with dumbells on bicep exersizes did the trick. now, i've had a seriouse forearm injury when i was about 21 and my left forarm is noticably smaller...i've worked it sepretly and it dosnt matter...its gonna stay smaller. strength wise, it is now stronger than my right armHE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Re: Right arm bigger than left...
Its normal. I was an NPC judge for a couple years and I never saw anyone with perfect symmetry. Even Arnold has assymetry. Look at pics of Arnold. His right arm has an enormous peak and his left arm hardly peaks at all. I wouldnt worry about it too much. In bodybuilding contests, its all about the entire package. If youre in great condition and good muscle mass, 1/4" diff in your arms isnt going to matter

Re: Right arm bigger than left...
During dumbells start and stop with you smaller arm. My smaller arm is stronger though (carry my daughter with my left); which makes me wonder if it's just better coordination when flexing my dominant (right) arm - causing my 1/4 inch gap. :/
