Well, my wife comes home from her workout last night and says that she wants us to train for a 5k in October or something like that. So, I figure thats around 3 miles, I should be able to do that no problem. So that is what we are doing now. I have been reading up on it. She also wants to train for a 15k in December (or maybe it is a 25k) either way, that one is a run/walk. This might be what finally gets me motivated....maybe I will lose some of this weight I want to lose in the process.

Well, she really wants me to do it with her and it is for a girl that is in St.Jude Hospital in Memphis, so it's for a good cause as well. I mean it can't hurt, right? I need something to get me motivated to get back into working out.
