        Re: rhabdomyolysis

Which was dignosed first?? If you were taking the benzo first, It maybe whats setting it off. Here's a table of Causes:

Excessive physical exertion of any kind provokes rhabdomyolysis, while the high temperature, the humidity, the cocaine or alcohol use and the dehydration may act as additional risk factors.
There have been many reported cases of rhabdomyolysis in marathon runners, weight lifters and also in conditions of severe agitation, such as the protracted tonicclonic seizures in status epilepticus or due to the use of psychostimulant drugs or in psychiatric diseases, such as delirium tremens, some types of panic attacks or induced seizures.

It seems that the intense physical exertion leads to the exhaustion of cellular ATP supplies and to pumb dysfunction in muscle cell membranes, which results in their disruption, producing rhabdomyolysis.

Were you tested for any under lying causes?? Kidney, thyroid, that type thing?

Yes, I had full lab work along with a CAT scan. My kydneys, thank goodness, are in tip-top shape. All organs are in great shape and functioning perfect, liver, kidneys, etc...My body is has no wear and tear that I would've expected. She, my family doc, even came out of the blue with "what great shape my liver is in".

I've never been diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis. I'm not going to the hospital when this happens because the normal protocal is to hook the patient up to a dialasis machine because the muscle fibers stress the kydneys so bad. But, on my defense with that decision, my blood work proved that it's done no damage.
The rhabdomyolysis is self diagnosed. It's not difficult. It's can only be that when you have a muscle that feels like it's had a trauma injury, and your peepee stream is black with blood, leaving the toilet water so dark with a reddish tint the next moring.
When I would take a couple month break from training, then get back to it in my 20s, it would happen bad. And I would always tell my wife that it's like I've injured the muscle, or muscle group very bad, like getting shot or smashed the muscle very bad, so I'm urinating blood. I knew my muscle was bleeding. It wasn't until about a year or so ago that I read up on it, which was the last time I did it very bad.
With all that said, that was before I was diagnosed with anxiety. But since then, It's definitely happening more regular. but not extreme as if I was just getting back in the gym after atrophy, etc...
