Would I burn more calories doing treadmill work for 30 minutes or hitting the punching bag for 30 minutes? I would much rather hit the punching bag but need to do whatever burns the most calories.

I would think if you had the treadmill on a high enough speed with a angle you would get your heart beat up faster.As for the punching bag can you keep up for 30 minutes without stopping at a high intensity.Disclaimer: Steroid use is illegal in a vast number of countries around the world. Well, my cradio isn't that good right now as I have just started concentrating on it. So I probably couldn't do either for 30 minutes at the moment. What I have been doing on the treadmill is walking for a few minutes and then running for a few, and then walking a few, etc... until I get to where I can run however long I want. I have an old style treadmill so the incline is something I manually have to do.
I have only used the punching bag once, as far as cardio is concerned. I was just curious if that was a good option to running on the treadmill. I am going to buy a better treadmill as soon as I get the extra money. I just can't get it right now.
