    I read somewhere that doing straight leg lifts as an ab excersize is not good for you. Is this true?

    It works the hams/lower back,great exercise.

      Like soda said, it works legs and back so not great for abs. Had to do a ton of them in the service....along with flutter kicks...
      It's better to burn out, than to fade away...
