  • Training for an Ironman and have a few ?'s

I quit racing a few years ago and decided to put on some size for something different. Now I have the itch to run a few more ironman triathlons. Its going to take me about a year to get back in that type of shape.

I know with the endurance training I am going to loose some of my size but I don't want to go back to the weight I competed at. So my questions:

If I run some type of AAS while endurance training will I see any gains or maybe stay where I am at?

I have winny and EQ on hand. What will running just the two of them do?

Should I mix in some heavier weight training to try to stay close to where I am?

Any advice on this is much appreciated.

well man if i was you i would use a low dose of test with some eq. winni is for power and sprints so that really won't help you to much but if you wanted you could throw it in at the end. I have no proof that that is a good combo for endurance but if it was me thats what i would do

dude...i cant even get through a workout without, just about, blacking out!! wtf do i know about ironman preparedness??!! i dont think i'd use winny, i do know that...i'd probobly try something along james thinking. maybe epo? i take it you want to run something as to not loose everything you gained and if thats the case, then test and eq is good advise, imo

That is pretty much what a wise man told me just the other day. Not a lot of people endurance train while on AAS I imagine. At least I have never heard of anyone.
