  • weight lifting belts?

    Can someone guve me some good tips when it comes to buying a weight lifting belt?? I see there are different sizes in the stores and different materials...so not sure how one knows which is best for him/her to use?
    Any info would be great...thanks.

    Well I got the Schiek Lifting Belt (Black) n fairly comfortable . Big plus on lower back when going heavy . I havnt tried any other belts but Im sure they're all good

      I also have a Schiek and ive tried quite a few belts...this is my favorite BY FAR!!!

        I have ahd the same belt for 10yrs... The one before that I had for over 12yrs... All I know is the more they break in the better.. At least for me...
        I think thickness is where everyone has a bigger difference in opinion... I've seensome super wide ones... I don't get that unless you are into powerlifting..

          I have an Inzer belt - top quality - quite possibly the best that money can buy. I love it; however, I've slowwwwwwly weaned myself from using a belt in order to fully develop my core.

              I have a Valero powerlifting belt, which I seldom wear. However, I have a couple of other bodybuilding belts (Nike) as well.
              Loved by some, Hated by most, but RESPECTED BY ALL

                I have a Valeo as well. I've had it for about 6-7yrs and like it. I do use it when I'm doing legs or real heavy anything where I feel my core strain. I'm just realy scared of blowing an intestine out.
                I didn't wear one for the first couple years of training until a partner explained about pushing an intestine thru, so that encouraged me to use one. And I like the lower back support for squats.
