I had gotten out of the routine a year ago (traveling for work) and put some pounds back on. Got back at it in the gym, and bulked up pretty good. I'm taking Test and EQ. Now I'm about 245-50 and need to cut about 25-30 pounds off and I"ll be fairly lean. I'm low carbing (works best for me). BUT the older I get the harder it is. The weight isn't dropping like it use to. I've normally lost around 10-15 pounds in 2 weeks an I'm at 9 right now. I've stepped up the cardio, but just getting harder....
JUST KEEP EATING HEALTHY AND DOING YOUR CARDIO AND YOU WILL LOSE THE WIEGHT.

The biggest thing with changing your diet is to not do it all at once, or you will fail miserably. First, start by eating four days a week very very clean. Once that becomes easy to do, up it to five, and then finally six. I do not believe you need to eat clean seven days a week unless you are competing, but that's me. This way, the one day you get to splurge, but just don't over do it. However, if you try to jump right in to seven days a week, it won't last. So, start small, even if you have to do three days at first, just make sure it's clean all day and every meal. Baby steps will take you a long way.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
slow and steady, like t said...your right, as i've gotten older (i'm nowhere NEAR fuzo's age though) it's gotten harder...i'm about ready to find out how hard it'll be this year. gonna start trying to loose some flab at the end of feb...take it slow with dropping cal's and ease into bumbing cadio! here we go, lol

yeah if u use to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks, I BET U MY LIFE ITS WATER WEIGH.
LISTEN UP TO WHAT THE ABOVE HAVE SAID AND LET ME ADD:
CUT DOWN SODIUM, SALT.
DAIRY PRODUCTS: MAKES U RETAIN WATER.
LOW CARBS BUT INCREASE YOUR CALORIES.
HIGH PROTEIN
DECREASE THE FAT
DRINK A LOTTTTTTTTS OF WATER .
NO SUGAR, AND THAT FRUITY SHIAT.
CARDIO (I KNOW U ARE DOING IT ) EAT CLEAN BUT EAT 5 MEALS AND DONT BE SCARED FROM EATING.. THE LESS U EAT, THE MORE BODY FAT U WILL GAIN AND RETAIN. ENOUGH IS SAID BRO
I agree with T-man. You eat clean and do a lot of cardio, but you must also give your body a break and "recalibrate" by having a cheat day once a week where you eat (within reason) whatever you want. I assume you are taking a day or two off from your cardio as well (a must). Also change-up your cardio and diet every 2 weeks will help.
I know I know it's hard to imagine...About 3 yrs ago I went cold turkey..no carbs, caffeine, beer, milk, bread..just lean meats, clean veggies(broc, lettuce, celery), and water for 6-8 months...I think I was around 215 @ 5'11..BF was low but not what I wanted (12% +/-). Now I'm about 240ish..lost around 15 so far..I'm going to wait until June and get a little something extra for my work outs....right now its' all just me
