    I like to do high pulls with a rope on the cable cross machine - set on the low pulley.
    I take the rope or straps with handles and pull my hands high past my ears and squeeze that area at the same time.
    That and close grip bent over rows.

    Basically anything I can feel the tight squeeze in that area.
    Sometimes I'll do shrugs on the belly support T-bar row - the shrug part of a movement, very limited motion on that one.

          seated pulley rows are great,pull back from elbows and push chest out

            Some upper back work for mass that I like is stuff like rack pulls for sets of 3-5 reps, face pulls on the pull down machine for sets of 12-20 reps, chins and top grip on the chest support rows with reps ranging from 5-12.
