  • Hiking for the heart....

I went hiking Saturday around Garden of the Gods Park and I wore my Polar HR Monitor. Talk about an easy way to burn some fat. I stayed in my fat zone for 90 minutes and barely even broke a sweat. I had my Hydro Pak and one of the Dry Fit shirts and it was awesome. Me and a friend of mine took our two sons and we had a blast. By far the most enjoyable 90 minutes of fat burning I've ever done. My HR stayed around 70% on average the whole time. We would climb some rocks so it would go up some but the overall was right in the zone for my age. If you have a place to hike, take the family or a friend and go do it. It sure as heck beats indoor cardio. We even got rained on some and didn't care.

Here are some images of the park.....

It's worth all the snow to have these places close by.

Looks like I'll have to make a stop down that way next time I get to Denver for my customer.
Luckily I may have a new customer is Ft. Collins soon so it would potentially double my visits.
An extra day or two would be perfect a bit of hiking.
We have some areas around here but it's nothing like being out west in Colorado or Utah. Some of the best hikes I've ever taken were in Estes Park, Moab Or Zion. You're truly blessed to be able to reside amonst such beauty.

Heck yeah bro, let me know the next time you are in the area. If you have time we can go hit a trial together and grab a bite to eat. Ft. Collins is about 2 hours north of me but Denver is only about 1 hour north of me, depending where in Denver you are.

            You got it!!!!!!
I was actually going to be in town this weekend but had to cancel.
There was a Ziggy Marley concert at Mishawaka but my customer couldn't make it on such short notice so I am going to swing out for a concert later this summer.
I should be out before then if all goes well with the new potential cust.

But I will be out for sure in the not too distant futre.
I'll keep you posted and I'll make sure i take time to get together with you.

            Very, very cool!!!!
