rear delts. With those I like to lay on a very low incline (30 degrees) on my side. Then, I take the DB and do rear delt raises. It's like laying on your side in a recliner and then sticking your arm straight out in front of you and raising up and down with a DB. What I like best about it is the starting point is with the arm extended and there is more resistance than bent over rear delt raises. I also lean slightly towards the ground so that there is resistance at the top too. It's less at the top so I try to squeeze the rear delt for a full second and then lower the weight for 3 full seconds. I can't do more than 17.5 to 20 pounds but it will light up your rear delts and add size to them very quickly. I've went away from this exercise several times and keep coming back to it. I think it's the best rear delt exercise when done with good form. It doesn't take much weight since it's isolates the rear delt so well.

I tried these, had to use the 10lb and still couldn't get 20 reps, and i'll be damned if i'll go lower.. hahhaa

after doing them 2 days ago, today there were 3 guys in the gym doing the same exercise.. so your popularity is growing..

I've never seen this one done this way, i normally do them standing, but the 30 degree really isolates the heads..

    thanks.. you bum...

LOL! That's what happens when you do something different. I used to do poor man t-bar rows where you stick a BB in a croner and load the other end with 45's and then use the close grip rowing bar to put under the bar. Then you straddle the BB and do rows to your chest. It didnt' take long before guys were doing it every day. LOL I also have a very unique lat exercise that my bro called scoop rows. It's hard to explain but people were trying to do it after they seen me do it. Everyone wants to do something different, it's just the way we are wired. That's where I learned most of what I know, watching other guys do stuff. However, I would ask them why they liked this or that and if they could explain it with an intellignet answer I tried it. But, the more I studied up on Kinesiology, the more exercises would come to me. Just knowing how a muscle functions and then finding a way to perform that function with resistance is the key. A lot of people really don't know how the muscles actually work. They have an idea, but they really don't know. It's until you really spend some time studying Kinesiology that you really get why some exercises are better than others. And, you don't have to go to school. I will go to a college and purchase the text books used or look on Amazon.com for them used. Then I will just study about the muscles I want to improve or whatever.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

10LBS FOR REPS IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME WITH THOSE. I ALSO LIKE DOING THE REVERSE DELTS WITH A FLY MACHINE SITTING TOWARDS THE PAD. WE HAVE 2 REAL GOOD MACHINES THAT HIT THE DELTS GOOD

I did the rear delt move last night. Amazing the isolation of that excercise. All I felt was the rear delt working.
