Picked this one up from the guru Louie Simmons. He's got a few of his guys hanging kettlebells with bands from a barbell, instead of loading the plated on the bar, and doing high rep benchpresses. At my gym I haven't been able to get the owner to get any kb's yet so I improvised. Using the fat bar, I looped three 25's with a purple (light) band each side and started pressing. OMG! What a humbling experience! You have to fight like hell to keep the bar stable. It hits your stabilizers like you wouldn't believe. Give it a shot and see for yourself. I do it after my speed work when I'm already fatigued and we'll see what kind of carry over I get.
