I'D GO AHEAD AND KEEP TRIS WITH DAY 1, HONESTLY. HIT EM WHILE THEY'RE STILL WARM, YA KNOW. IF YOU WAIT 2 DAYS, THEY MAY STILL BE A LIL FRIED FROM SHOULDERS AND CHEST, KNOW WUT I MEAN?

Looks like a pretty good upper/lower split, how about your stats? Age, wt, cycle? etc.

            Re: critique the split

I do something similar but it's like this:

            Day 1 Chest/Back/Traps/Bi/Tri

            Day 2 Quads/Hams/Adductors/Calves/Delts

I think it's easier to hit bi and tri after chest and back because they are already warmed up, but that's me. I only do 1 set for each exercise for the most part. Sometimes I do 2, but rarely.

              I agree with t-dog.
Bis and tris are good to hit at the same time. Also, I did the old cybergenics plan and that had me working delts with legs with no problems.

And, if you are pressed for time you can superset delts with hams and calves and get done quicker. They don't take anything away from one another either.

                      Re: critique the split

i may switch it to somethin like urs tman that way i know im hittin shoulders to there full potential, ill have to see how i heal up and everythin first tho cause right now my tris are too shocked to hit shoulders after only one day of rest. I took a little break from workin out due to a few things so im sure the soreness is jus cause i havent worked out in 2 and a half weeks. Have u ever had ur tris still be sore when it came time to do shoulders?

                        Re: critique the split

Im switching my split to this:
                        D1 - chest/back/shoulders/traps
                        D2 - off
                        D3 - legs/arms
                        D4 - off
                        Repeat

My reasoning behind choosing this split is because grouping Chest, Shoulders and Tris together in one day I dont hit my tris to there full potential. By switchin it to D3 im able to hit my tris full force and lift heavier than I would if I kept them @ D1. Im focusing on my weak points (tris, calves, traps). What do you guys think?
