  • Rear delts are lagging!!!

    How do I get my rear delts bigger? I do a lot of cable reverse laterals but not sure of what other exercises to do. Here are some pics I took yesterday! Be easy on me please!!!

    There's a workout I do where you put you stand in a bowing kind of position with your head on an incline seat. you then pull both of your arms towards your back. Make sure both of your arms are shaped like an L, not fully stretched out. I have no clue what they call it. I think maybe Reverse Lateral or something like that. Regardless I can feel that in the rear delts more than anything else. Try that in combination with your current workout. Of course my results aren't great, but then again I never am consistent with shoulders. Of all the workouts that's the one I always skip and you can tell.

    Hang in there bro. You've got a decent amount of size to you. More than I have so your doing good. Give yourself credit because you deserve it. Just keep working at it and don't throw in the towel...

          This may sound stupid but for me I have to focus on feeling the muscle work when doing a set versus doing any one particular exercise. Once I felt it and able to squeze the muscle during the movement I have seen better developement. It's easy to swing or incorporate other muscle into the movement and negect the rear delt.
          Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

            heavy barbell rows should take care of your rear delts for the most part, dumbell rows are good too

            every now and then you can do some bent laterals with dumbells, but honestly barbell rows should get some growth going

              ^bump also with this movement turn your thumb down towards the ground this will help isolate the rear delt
              Don't worry about life, you're not going to survive it anyway.
