I've been having a lot of problems with my left shoulder and have decided to change my current training protocol. I'm going to return to DC training to give myself a break from the high volume workout that I've been using. What are your thoughts about the use of DC training for rehab?
i think it's a great idea bro. i've been using a similiar program and my injuries have almost gone away completely. find the exercises that don't aggravate your injury and you'll be set.
so is it volume that messes with your shoulder? if so, i think DC would be a good idea. 5 exercises and your in and out. i'm assuming you've already read cycle for pennies but this is a one stop reading for DC stuff....also his site. www.intensemuscle.com

I've done DC training in the past with great success. I went back to a regular "high volume" routine for a change... but it's resulted in an over use/abuse with my shoulders....

Funny it seems the shoulders are always a main source of most lifters injuries. Almost everytime I have a problem it's something with my damn shoulders. You know what they say find your weakness and tweak that, otherwise the rest of your body won't get any farther!

I've been doing so many shoulder/rotator cuff exercises for rehab. I even have an appointment with a physical/sports medicine rehab clinic on Thursday - plus my MRI next month. I need to get to the bottom of my problem because I want to be able to train indefinitely...
learned something new today. you may or may not have already known this, but as far as incline bench if you're 45 degree or steeper, its more shoulders. try and keep it 15-30 degree. just a thought.

My incline bench has always been at the lowest possible setting for years now. I think my problem truly started when I incorporated upright rows into my shoulder routine. I've dropped all direct anterior shoulder exercises - especially those over head movements. (i.e. military press, db military press, front raises, etc...)
