I have this digital one that I use just as a guage, I could careless if it is accurate I just want to see if I am losing or gaining. It's by Omron and it costs about $40 without shipping.

I actually have been looking for a machine to do lat pull downs with that uses olympic plates instead of the garbage weights that come with them. But it's hard to find one that is $300 or under.

Mine gives me a good idea of where I am at. Does yours have different settings for the person for athlete or normal?

Most are a waste of money. I bought the Accumeasure calipers and they are absolutely worthless...

yeah, it had the athletic settings. i had it for about 6 months, then it broke, would not turn on.
